"Ele nasceu em Burma, no dia 19 de junho de 1948, mudou-se para Bombaim ainda bebê e fixou-se na Inglaterra aos sete anos, indo morar em Far Leys, a casa que o viu crescer na minúscula Tanworth-in-Arden. O jardim dos fundos sempre esteve presente em sua infância, como o piano de sua mãe (compositora influenciada por Noël Coward e Sandy Wilson), as histórias de seu pai e compositores clássicos, sua principal companhia musical quando criança. Naturalmente foi para o piano e logo se tornaria um instrumentista de talento, ainda que adolescente. Mas o espírito rebelde daqueles dias o levaram para os Beatles e, influenciado por eles, trocou o piano por um violão, depois de muito pedir aos pais. Saber mais....
